Proof of Execution

A notarial act in which a subscribing witness may confirm the execution of an eligible document when allowed by applicable law and when all required conditions are satisfied.

What this service involves

This act requires advance review. The subscribing witness must be properly identified and must meet every condition that applicable law requires. It may not be available for a given document or situation.

What to bring

  • Current, acceptable government-issued identification
  • The complete, unsigned document (unless the act allows a prior signature)
  • All required signers, present at the same appointment
  • Any witnesses the document may require
